The Senior Clinical Director BCBA is an experienced, strategic, and mission-driven individual overseeing multiple centers within a designated region. Responsibilities

  • Takes all steps necessary to ensure exceptional and highly responsive service to all clients and family members on the part of all department team members.
  • Lead and support Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers across the region, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and consistent care.
  • Mentor Clinical Directors to strengthen clinical judgment, leadership capabilities, and accountability.
  • Manage and mentor Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers to hit performance benchmarks, maintain staff retention, and optimize center capacity.
  • Identify and proactively address clinical and operational risks to maintain strong regional performance.
  • Ensure high clinical standards through QA systems, audits, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the quality and integrity of assessments, treatment planning, and clinical outcomes.
  • Support the organization’s growth by streamlining clinical workflows and ensuring quality remains consistent during the scaling process.
  • Monitor regional performance metrics, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Clinical Directors to implement and sustain data-driven improvements.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training for clinicians and clinical leaders.
  • Partner with Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers to ensure consistent, high-quality clinical development across the region.
  • Lead and support company-wide clinical initiatives and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Training, and HR to align clinical and organizational goals.
  • Develops and adheres to budgets supporting ABA clinical operations objectives and enterprise mission.
  • Actively and constructively participates in strategic planning for periods beyond the current year to ensure long-term success of the enterprise as well as continuing and improving benefits to all stakeholders.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.
  • Uses reports to glean trends in the data and provide action-oriented steps to improve or maintain clinical performance.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology or closely related field from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB is required.
  • Arizona licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst is required.
  • 5 or more years of clinical and supervisory or managerial experience in the field of autism services with direct facing client service experience is required.
  • 4 or more years of senior management experience supervising licensed professionals within a clinical environment is required.
  • Experience with skills assessments and curricula (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, EFL, AFLS, PEAK), required
  • Substantial experience with behavioral assessments (e.g., Practical Functional Assessments)
  • Strong background in behavior reduction program development and oversight.
  • Active BLS/CPR and Basic First Aid certifications required.
  • Demonstrates ability to supervise as well as transition seamlessly between strategic and hands-on leadership as all as being sought out for superior training techniques.
  • Ability to engage and motivate a team toward a common goal.
  • Ability to communicate knowledge in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to professionals and non-professionals.
  • Experience providing supervision to BCBAs
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure adherence to ethical and legal compliance programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including: Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Able and willing to travel to support other clinics based on business needs.
  •  Ability to work independently, pay attention to detail and meet established deadlines.
