Axis for Autism is seeking full-time Psychometrists in our Phoenix Diagnostics office to support us in providing timely Autism evaluations across Arizona and reducing the disparity of service.

Staring Pay: $26 / hr

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of clinical and support roles under the supervision of a licensed psychologist
  • Interacts directly with children, adults, their families, and caregivers
  • Administers and scores standardized testing
  • Supports the diagnostic process for Autism through testing and assessment
  • Participates in a rigorous and supervised training program provided for the position

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavioral sciences, or similar field required 
  • At least two years of experience working with individuals with ASD preferred. 
  • Experience working with kids a plus 
  • Knowledge and/or experience with implementing behavioral assessments, specifically ADOS-2 is preferred.  
  • Strong observational skills and ability to record and convey those observations systematically and reliably through writing 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Adept at multitasking 
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly desired
